This 3-4-hour workshop will teach the fundamentals of creating a relief block using artist linoleum and making a print of the block on paper. Topics covered will be printmaking terms, materials, tools, safety, basic cutting, inking, printing, and cleanup. The ink used in this course is water-based and easy to clean, but once it is dry the pigments can stain fabrics. Wear clothing that can get dirty. If your skin is very sensitive, thin gloves that permit unhampered use of fingers are fine.
