Handmade Art Prints

Standard USPS shipping/handling on orders over $50 is free for all orders going to address in the contiguous 48 states (USA). Shipping/handling fees for any expedited service or to addresses outside the contiguous 48 states (USA) are calculated by the shopping cart when you enter the shipping address and choose a shipping option. I reserve the right to charge additional shipping for orders that have a higher shipping/handling expense than what the Shopify system calculates.

All handmade art prints will be shipped in an acid-free, waterproof protective envelope (each piece of art in its own envelope) inside a cardboard mailer envelope that resists bending. Pieces under 24" longest dimension will usually ship flat and have additional card stock inside the package for protection. Larger pieces will be shipped rolled in a tube.

When you receive a rolled print, remove it from the shipping tube, leave it inside the clear protective sleeve, unroll the print, and set it concave side down on a flat surface. Gravity should flatten the print overnight. It the piece does not completely flatten, you can place it between two smooth surfaces that are larger and heavier than the print... such as a large book and a table top. That should flatten the print completely in a few hours.

Please DO NOT...

  • dampen a print to flatten it
  • wipe the inked surface of a print to flatten it, even when it is inside an envelope
  • iron a print
  • let your pet elephant dance on the print
  • do anything to flatten a print other than letting it sit quietly or between two flat, clean surfaces

Photography Prints

All photography prints are shipped by the photo lab directly to you. Shipping/Handling fees for standard shipping times are included for all orders going to addresses in the USA, except for Alaska and Hawaii. All orders outside of the 48 contiguous states will incur a shipping fee which will be calculated per order. 

Best Way to Get a Shipping/Handling Quote

The fastest way to get a shipping quote for photography orders is to place all of the items you want to purchase in a cart and then send a message through the contact form to ask for shipping/handling quote. All of the charges for AK, HI, international, and expedited shipping are calculated by the photo lab, and I will need a day to request a quote from them.
