The black-and-white warbler is a common song bird in eastern North America. It's distinctive chromatic color pattern is unique, as is its habit of creeping along the trunks and branches of trees like a nuthatch. This species nests as far north as Canada, but it Winters in the southern states, making it one of the few migrants with a population that stays mostly in North America. This small print is a reduction linocut printed with archival inks on Awagami shin inbe handmade paper.
