Bubbly

Bubbly is an edition of 18 monoprints in which the image and paper are the same, but each print will differ in how it looks because the paper was randomly creased by crinkling the paper and then flattening it before printing. Or not... a few prints in the edition were printed on flat paper, but the amount of ink and printing pressure was varied. The objective was to create random lighter areas on the right side of the print to provide a sense of a light source and some three dimensionality to the finished print.

Limited edition handmade art prints for sale will be annotated with edition number, title, signature, and year of printing at the bottom of the print. Monotype prints for sale are one-of-a-kind and will be annotated without an edition number. Trial and color proofs, when they are offered for sale, will be annotated with title, year, and a chop symbol instead of a signature. Trial and color proofs are going to be different from the limited edition prints.
