I designed this linocut for a print exchange with some other printers, mostly in England. the theme for this this exchange is 'Chaos/Calmness'. The first thing that pops into my head for 'chaos' is a hurricane... it's a Florida thing. The first thing that pops in my head for 'calmness' is quiet meditation. I have a friend who has the longest, bushiest, and most unruly head of hair I that ever seen, and she once shared a photo of her meditating in lotus with her hair completely haloing her head and body. All that is the inspiration for 'Calm the Chaos'

Limited edition handmade art prints for sale will be annotated with edition number, title, signature, and year of printing at the bottom of the print. Monotype prints for sale are one-of-a-kind and will be annotated without an edition number. Trial and color proofs, when they are offered for sale, will be annotated with title, year, and a chop symbol instead of a signature. Trial and color proofs are going to be different from the limited edition prints.
