Flounder are a flatfish species found in the coastal waters and estuaries all along the Atlantic seaboard. They are fast growing, aggressive predators, and delicious. They are also extremely cryptic and can change their color to match the bottom they are resting on. This geometric design is carved by hand into linoleum and then printed onto two different papers: Rives lightweight paper and Nepalese lotka paper. This handmade specialty paper has thin fibers running through a creamy base color that gives the paper an interesting depth and texture

  • linocut
  • Rives lightweight / Nepalese lotka
  • dimensions - 10' x 8”
  • limited edition of 100 (50 of each paper type)

Limited edition handmade art prints for sale will be annotated with edition number, title, signature, and year of printing at the bottom of the print. Monotype prints for sale are one-of-a-kind and will be annotated without an edition number. Trial and color proofs, when they are offered for sale, will be annotated with title, year, and a chop symbol instead of a signature. Trial and color proofs are going to be different from the limited edition prints.
