Materials and Safety Notes

All of the materials, ink, and cleanup solutions are non-toxic and do not require the general use of protective gloves or face masks. The ink used in this course is water-based and easy to clean, but once it is dry the pigments can stain fabrics. Wear clothing that can get dirty. If your skin is very sensitive, thin gloves that permit unhampered use of fingers are fine. The use of hand creams and moisturizers are also safe, as there are no chemicals being used that can react with them.
