Shrimp Cocktail

Shrimp Cocktail... the iconic bar appetizer in finer restaurants. Growing up, ordering a shrimp cocktail when out to dine with my parents was a special treat! This linocut print was created by hand-carving a separate plate for each color and then printing the layers 'wet on wet' to provide some blending of the colorful transparent inks. This is one of the Shrimp Dish series of prints.

Monotype prints for sale are one-of-a-kind and will be annotated without an edition number. Trial and color proofs, when they are offered for sale, will be annotated with title, year, and a chop symbol instead of a signature. Trial and color proofs are going to be different from the limited edition prints.
