Shrimp Scampi

Shrimp Scampi... the iconic Italian restaurant shrimp and pasta dish. Not sure how a bowl full of pasta and shrimp can feel like a light meal, but the freshness and spicy zip of scampi manages to pull it off. This linocut print was created by hand-carving a separate plate for each color and then printing the layers 'wet on wet' to provide some blending of the colorful transparent inks. This is one of the Shrimp Dish series of prints.
