Upward Hound

"Up-Facing Hound' features a coonhound in a classic yoga pose, something that our hound, Maggie, would do every time she got out of bed. This whimsical two-color reduction woodcut is part of the Hound Yoga singles series. It is a varied edition... some of the prints include a brown patch behind the dog's black nose. I decided halfway through the edition that I wanted a pure white muzzle, but the prints pretty much look the same.

Trial and color proofs are going to be different from the limited edition prints.
